Unwind the Vines & make Earth Day Spheres
We are planning two community events to create Earth Day Spheres from vines pulled out of our park trees. You or your team can help and participate in several different ways. Come join us in the Park and cut the vines. And then at the Childrens Museum and at the Phipps Garden Center, we will have free workshops to teach you how to make spheres.
We are working on the links to reserve either Phipps 4/23 or Children Museum 4/16&4/23. (they will be 45min sessions on the hour)
in the meantime, you can email ktoole@andflowers.net and I'll add you
Thank you! Karen

Our Goal

At And Flowers we are committed to bringing communities together for a common cause. We are so excited to present our Earth Day Spheres. We are leading groups of volunteers to remove invasive vines from City trees in Highland Park and Springhill Greenway. Our goal is to raise awareness, help the trees and make Earth Day Spheres from the invasive vines.
How can I help? Consider volunteering email kktoole@ me.com or donating to our cause here.
Who, Where, and How
We're excited to have a few different groups involved in our Earth Day celebration. In April, we will take groups out to remove invasive vines from city trees. These vines will help us to create unique spheres in a collaborative workshop. Find out who's involved here.

You! The Pittsburgh Community
Workshops to make vine spheres will be held at two Pittsburgh locations for locals' convenience, including the Phipps Garden Center and The Children's Museum.
Workshops will be held April 16th and April 23rd, 10:00am-1:00pm
These spheres are fun for all to make! We hope you'll make two, one to keep and one donate to be displayed as reminder of what we can accomplish together.
We are working on how to sign up to help. In the meantime email me at kktoole@me.com
Thank you, Karen
